Where to Watch Fireworks in Tampa Bay this July 4th
Making plans on where to watch fireworks next Wednesday for July 4th in the Tampa Bay area?
Well, we’ve put together a list of firework celebrations and parades in the area for you!
Typically in years past, the Channelside area fireworks have been held at Channelside Bay Plaza. But with the construction going on in Channelside at the moment, this year it will take place in front of the Tampa Convention Center. Fireworks start at 9pm and can be viewed anywhere along the Riverwalk. Get there early to get a good vantage point! More details can be found here.
Tampa Red, White and Blue Festival
Taking place next to the Waterside Marriott at Cotanchobee Park this event is FREE with advance RSVP. This is a good way to enjoy the afternoon prior to the fireworks at the Tampa Riverwalk.
This year, there will be something special for everyone, even your pets!
- Tasteful Southern Dishes by the Tampa Red White & Blue Festival Food Court inclusive of your favorite surf and turf, hot dogs, bbq, etc.
- Best Dressed in Red, White & Blue Contest ( Kid Category, Dog Category, and Adult Category).

Fourth of July Family FunFest
The American Victory Ship at Channelside will host a viewing of Tampa’s annual July 4th Fireworks aboard this historic World War II merchant steamship and national landmark from 6:30pm – 9:30pm. The evening event features musical entertainment from DJ Ian Paul, a special Kids Zone with two face painters from 6:30-8:30pm, games, as well as arts and crafts. Get more details here.
